Vice Principal
Vice-principal: $400/month
The Vice-Principal/Acting Vice-Principal serves as the Second-in-Charge to the Principal. The Vice-Principal is responsible for overseeing the administrative duties that support the day-to-day operations, including the management of finances and overall school operations. The Vice-Principal also leads and mentors the team to achieve the center's goals, implements group policies, and oversees the planning and execution of the curriculum, processes, and operations. In the absence of the Principal, the Vice-Principal assumes the role of the Principal.
Centre administrator and second point-person for centre enquiries and vendors
Support in overseeing the operation of the centre in the absence of the Principal
Plan and oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre to ensure its smooth functioning
Support in the orientation for parents/ visitors and walk-ins
Assist Principal to implement group policies and ensure compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements. Eg, communicating & clarifying policies to staff
Oversee planning and implementation of curriculum to support achievement of centre goals, objectives which includes development of children
Prepare financial budget for centre
Ensuring that enrolment and enrichment targets are met through coordinated marketing efforts /open house
Optimise the use of centre assets and resources are maximise to the efficiency of the operations Eg, include ensuring online orders/ stationary orders/ readers orders are effectively used
Oversee centreβs petty cash and ensure budget given is kept
Eg, Oversee companyβs bank account, grocery orders, online orders, readers orders, stationary orders, MBHQ orders, budgeting for centre events/ festivities
Point-person for money collection (cash/ bank transfer/ paynow)
To collect money (from Principals/ from teachers/ from parents)
To bank in money (from Principals/ from teachers/ from parents)
Point-person for monthly reimbursement (cash/ bank transfer/ paynow)
Ensure the quality standards in all areas, including delivery of curriculum, enrichment, operations, administration, health and safety of the centre
(Eg, Attend & assign teachers to attend curriculum briefing/ manage & curb outbreak of diseases)
Work with Principal, Senior/ Cluster Principal and HQ to ensure consistent quality standards are met
Follow up with public and parentsβ concerns and feedback
(Eg, include informing / updating the Principal, Senior / Cluster Principal, HQ or even ECDA to resolve specific cases)

Mentor and support teachers on their said roles:
Lead and Assistant Lead Teachers on their said roles
Eg, Ensure deadlines are met
Curriculum Heads on their said roles (Eg, Standardisation and quality of work throughout the centre)
Centre teachers (Guide and mentor as they to manage difficult parents)
Advise staff on appropriate practices (can be related to child discipline, staffβs code of conduct)
Support and oversee individual class Communication book
Lead the implementation and evaluation of centre events, guiding teachers in planning and organizing activities and celebrations
Create platforms to engage and build strong relationships with parents, e.g., planning PTC, parent orientation, and weekly updates
Liaising with external vendors and government bodies, e.g., stationery suppliers, food caterers, school bus services, and ECDA
