Subject Line: Welcome to MapleBear – Preparing for Day One

Dear [Parents' Name],

We are thrilled that [Child Name] will soon join the MapleBear family! To help your child settle in smoothly, and to give you peace of mind, please review the checklist below.

1. Pack & Label (everything should fit into your child’s school bag)

  • Shower kit - towel, spare clothes, waterproof bag for soiled items

  • Water bottle - clearly labelled

  • Extra clothes - for emergencies

  • Diapers - 5 pcs (if applicable)

  • Favourite comfort toy - optional, first month only

2. Sleep Kit (full-day students only)

  • Light blanket

  • Small pillow (optional)

  • Mattress cover (cot measures 1.4 m Ɨ 0.6 m)

3. Other Essentials

  • Milk bottle + pre-measured powder (if needed)

  • Dental kit (Nursery and up): toothbrush, toothpaste, mug

  • Pencil case (Nursery, Term 3 onwards)

Note: Labelling saves time and prevents mix-ups. Please label every item, including uniforms and bags, with your child’s name.

4. Weekly Routine

Every Friday, please take the sleep kit and dental kit home to wash and return them on Monday.

5. Cubby Size Check

Each cubby measures 26 cm Ɨ 36 cm Ɨ 20 cm. Ensure both bags fit comfortably (photo attached).

6. Set Up the MapleBear App (5 minutes)

  1. Download ā€œMapleBear Appā€ from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Log in with your NRICs ([Father NRIC] / [Mother NRIC]) and temporary password 123456.

  3. Change the password and add a profile photo.

Note: The app is our primary communication channel, photos, updates and notices arrive here.

7. Safe Pick-Up

If someone else (18+) will pick-up your child, please complete the Authorised Pick-Up form beforehand; they must show their NRIC/FIN at the gate.
