Hello, I’m Myron—founder and CEO of Mynt. Throughout this guide, you’ll see little commentary boxes like this one. I want them to feel like a conversation, letting you in on my personal insights and motivations. Our main mission here at Mynt is to provoke the early childhood sector in a positive way—using modern methods to help the next generation thrive in a future world.
We also want to build the best workplace possible for our educators, because when you’re excited and supported, that enthusiasm spills over to the children we teach. Our motto is “inspire the next generation,” and I hope these commentaries will give you a clearer view of how we plan to make that vision a reality. Welcome to Mynt!
Mynt was established with a strong ethos, which has inspired the many processes we have in place today. You can think of everything written here almost like our DNA.
"Company culture" is a term that's often overused and unfortunately gets a bad reputation because it is watered down to a rulebook; I hope it never dissolves to that over here. Our values should be a north star that guides each of you when faced with novel situations. Once you understand and internalize our DNA, it should empower you to make decisions with confidence because you know it is the right one without needing the validation of others. If we can achieve this as a company, we will be unstoppable.
For new team members, this Guide will be integral during your first weeks with the team. It will allow you to better learn about who we are and why we do the things we do, in the manner that we do.
For seasoned team members, think of our Mynt Guide as a reference should you require clarity.
